Alina Luca
FOUNDER & CEO
Mrs. Luca brings dual-sided expertise to PlainPath: elite financial credentials combined with hands-on experience running the finances of small U.S. service-based trades businesses.
With over 15 years of client-facing experience as a financial planner, life insurance advisor, and securities co-branch manager at Manulife Securities in Toronto, and backed by her CFP, CIM, and FCSI designations, Alina has spent nearly a decade inside small trades businesses as CFO of Personal Touch Painting and Decorating and as Marketing & Finance Manager at Delta Renovations, where she has personally built and run systems for cash flow tracking, job costing, credit readiness, and marketing ROI.
As an immigrant entrepreneur herself, Alina also brings firsthand understanding of the linguistic, cultural, and trust barriers that first-generation immigrant business owners face when seeking financial education and advice.
This lived experience informs every aspect of PlainPath, from the plain-language curriculum design to marketing channels and community partnerships, ensuring every course module and app tool is drawn from field-proven systems rather than theory.
